About the company

The company has 3 factories and machinery park which produces hundreds of tons of finished products per day.

Such a huge scale makes it possible to exist on the domestic market as well as on many foreign markets. Currently, the company cooperates with distributors from around the world and works with partners from more than 50 countries, including the United States, Britain, China, Japan, Australia, Belgium and Mexico. With 10 000 pallet positions, Millano's high bay warehouse ensures efficient distribution.

A few important dates in Millano history...

  1. 1982

    The Millano company is established in Przeźmierowo at Wysogotowska St.

  2. 1992

    We open a production hall for forming chocolate bars, equipped with an office space and social facilities, at Wysogotowska St.

  3. 1996

    We put into motion one of the most advanced, numerically operated chocolate mass and couverture chocolate production lines in the country, based on German technology, able to produce 100 tons of mass per day

  4. 1996/1997

    A new production facility at Graniczna St., equipped to manufacture filled and pre-packaged products, begins its operations.

  5. 1999

    Our original brands enter the market

  6. 2000

    This is a breakthrough year in which we become the co-owner of the Słupsk-based Pomorzanka company, which in effect expands our catalog with a wide variety of new offerings: hard caramels, jelly products and glazed products.

  7. 2001

    The modern logistics and distribution center Millano Dystrybucja is established

  8. 2003

    Under modern management we begin the implementation of the HACPP system to ensure the safety of our products.

  9. 2004

    We are awarded the Quality Management System Certificate No. H-15/1/2004, which complies with the requirements of the DS 3027 E2002 standard.

  10. 2006

    Another breakthrough year – one of the most advanced production facilities in the confectionery industry is established, meeting the highest world standards in production and work safety. At the same time, we expand our machinery park with production lines and state-of-the-art packaging machines, which directly and significantly increases our production capabilities. Poland’s membership in the EU and the plant's production capacity lead to soaring export sales and the acquisition of new markets both in Europe and worldwide. Thanks to our consumers’ trust, we become one of the largest suppliers of original brand wares for store chains such as: Auchan, Tesco, Biedronka, Lidl, Intermarche, Geant, Plus Discount, Leader Price, Kaufland and Netto.

  11. 2009

    Once more we decide to invest in new technology by expanding our machinery park with cutting-edge packaging machines for packaging confectionery products.

  12. 2011

    New Millano Group’s company branch is established in the United States

  13. 2013

    Conversion of warehouse space into production space and transfer of the warehouse to a nearby logistics park

  14. 2015

    Expansion of office space with new working area

  15. 2016

    Transfer of warehouse part into bigger logistics center

  16. 2016/2017

    Increase of production power in terms of producing confectionery intermediates

  17. 2018

    The initiation of change in the form of economic activity into a commercial law company (Millano Ltd)

  18. 2019

    Completion of the transformation proces into Millano Ltd Limited Joint-Stock Partnership takeover by Millano Group of full control in KDC Pomorzanka Ltd.
